Chapter 1: The "Aha!" Moment
It started, as most things do, with a personal problem. After moving to Tenerife, we saw first-hand what the island's desalinated water does to a home — limescale destroying kettles and coffee machines within months, chlorine in every shower, washing machine elements burning out early. One day, Max installed a reverse osmosis water filtration system in my (Adam's) apartment. The difference was immediate.
